Rates for weddings differ from rates for other playing engagements. Details are listed below. If you have any additional questions or would like to request a contract to reserve the group for your event, please contact us. Price information listed is for the string quartet and different rates do apply for solo instrumental perfomances.
The base rate for weddings is $525.00. Of this, a $125.00 deposit is due with a signed contract at the initial consultation with a Summer Quartet representative. This reserves the quartet for your wedding. The remainder is due the day of the dress rehearsal. Performace of any contemporary numbers, pieces outside our current musical library, or performance of numbers as accompaniment to a vocal soloist incur additional fees. Travel outside of the SouthBend/Mishwaka/Granger area also incurs and additional $.45 per mile fee. If you would like to reserve the quartet for your reception or cocktail hour in addition to the ceremony, a different hourly rate applies.
Also, we do request that The Summer Quartet be listed in your wedding program as the group providing the ceremony music. Please list the group as "The Summer Quartet" or "The Summer Quartet" followed by each quartet member's name.
